This extra large lap quilt is sewn up in a variety of Nineteenth Century Reproduction shirting prints and a distressed red muslin. This quilt is made in a traditional Robbing Peter to Pay Paul pattern, and the coordinating pillow sham is a Postage Stamp pattern.
The quilt measures @ 76" x 76" - large enough for a good sized lap quilt for two, or as a pretty topper on a bed - and is quilted with a wavy serpentine stitch. The coordinating pillow sham is 19" x 19". The backing of the quilt is a tan distressed muslin. The binding and background fabric for each block in this quilt is a rich red distressed muslin. The binding of the pillow sham is the same red muslin. The batting used in both the quilt and sham is 100% cotton.
