The quilt is made in a vintage 1930s Dresden Plate pattern. The quilt is composed of pretty reproduction feedsack prints in various shades of pink, with the "plates" and centers of each block appliqued with cotton thread in a blanket stitch. The background of the blocks is a pale blush pink, quilted with a meandering stipple stitch. The sashing in between the blocks is made up of a variety of pink printed patches. The quilt measures @ 67.5" x 90". The back of the quilt is made up of a variety of coordinating pink prints, making this quilt reversible. The binding of both the quilt and sham are pink reproduction feedsack prints with mitered corners. The batting used in this quilt and sham is 100% cotton. The pillow sham fits a standard bed pillow.
